Massage Therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues to enhance a person’s health and well-being.  Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, and forearms.

Massage has many physiological benefits, including decreasing the production of stress hormones, lowering blood pressure, increasing blood and lymph circulation, reducing painful muscle contractions and spasms, and reducing nerve compression.

Combining deep tissue massage with stretching techniques, sports massages are designed to help proactively enhance muscle conditioning and ease pain.  By tailoring each sports massage to the client’s individual needs, I aim to enable clients to get more from their chosen sport.

Sports massages don’t only prove beneficial to people who participate in sport.  Many of my clients are desk workers or work in manual labour, and don't take part in any sports. However they find the treatments of massive benefit to the postural changes and muscle imbalances that happen because of their work.

Furthermore, as all of my treatments are tailored to the individuals needs and target specific areas causing aches and pains, many clients find sports massages to be a highly effective means of relaxation.
